Los Angeles, CA (July 24, 2014) – The International Skateboarding Federation (ISF) is announcing that they have been selected by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to showcase skateboarding aside the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China from August 17-27 as part of the Nanjing 2014 Sports Lab.  The ISF is producing two daily Street and Vert skateboard exhibitions featuring international athletes such as Renton Millar (Australia) and Leticia Bufoni (Brazil) and is excited to leave the concrete skatepark at the conclusion of the Games for the long-term enjoyment of the Nanjing community.

I would like to bring you some good news from the Polish Skateboard Association “Asoskate”.

Each year, the Polish skatescene features a massive amount of skateboard events, but it was 1991 when the first and the only one skateboard championship took place.

2012 saw a strong development of Asoskate which aims, among other goals, to support professional skateboarding in Poland.

We've got a number of world class skate parks built in Hong Kong over the last couple of years, we have been working with the Hong Kong Government to get more awareness for skateboarding & hopefully with the right support from them, we can bring world class events to Hong Kong.

We have been working with major skate brands to do some events / contests in Hong Kong; the latest one is with Dickies, see info here.

Last week Nitro Circus did a couple of shows at the Venetian Macau, they totally rocked & the response from the public was so much better than anyone (especially the govt officials) had expected.  In hindsight, if they had known the response would be so good, they would have done more shows.
